Currently she is Indian National Science Academy (INSA) Honorary scientist associated with a non- government organisation, and engaged in community health and nutrition action research, Dr. Kamala Krishnaswamy is a clinical nutritionist. She was director of NIN, Emeritus Scientist, Indian Council of Medical Research, and president of Nutrition Society of India. Currently she is much sought after nutrition consultant. Dr. G.N.V. Brahmam is a public health nutritionist. He heads the Field Division at NIN, as well as the National Nutrition Monitoring Bureau (NNMB) of ICMR.
